Sales Director

Overview


TRI is looking for a Sales Director who will manage the opportunity sales pursuit and close opportunities. The Sales Director will develop and direct the sales efforts for new client target acquisition and/or direct the efforts to ensure execution of sales strategies geared toward protecting and growing business with existing clients.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Relationship Development: Develop and leverage new relationships with potential clients in the (HR and Leadership Development space) through personal meetings, presentations, speaking engagements, business networking, telephone calls, personal emails, personal mailings, business forums, direct marketing, and/or other business or social outings.
  • Client Demand Stimulation and Opportunity Generation: Coordinate with our associate team to assist in the identification of specific sales opportunities within existing and prospective clients. Engage in activities focused at generating client awareness of the firm and/or demand for its Services (may include developing/sending promotional materials, presenting in business forums, business associations, etc.).

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years of proven sales prospecting, negotiation and closing experience.
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications.
  • Salesforce experience a must.
  • Self-motivated and extremely goal-oriented (must love to sell!)
  • Strong analytical and mathematical abilities.
