Russell P. Boisjoly, D.B.A., is a consultant with TRI Corporation and an international consultant in finance and strategy. He has written numerous articles on the topics of business ethics, optimal capital structure, mergers and acquisitions, and bankruptcy prediction, which focused on the application of corporate finance to the regulated trucking and electric utility industries. Dr. Boisjoly also has written the monographs “Selected Accounting and Financial Practices of the Electric Utility Industry” and “Shareholder Value Creation” for the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. They are used across the United States.

Dr. Boisjoly actively consults with corporations and government agencies.   • Dr. Boisjoly’s article, “Roger Boisjoly and the Challenger Disaster: The Ethical Dimensions,” appeared in the Journal of Business Ethics, summer 1989. It is frequently cited by researchers and management practitioners. Named one of the 1,000 most important management research articles of the 20th Century, the article was selected for inclusion in the International Library of Management, Volume 1, edited by Gerald Mars and David Weir and published by Ashgate Publishing.
  • Doctoral research was selected by Omicron Delta Epsilon for presentation in Invited Student Paper Session at the 1976 American Economics Association Meetings.
